Doing much survey and caught between the Nikon-Canon hype, I now realize that there's a rational basis to it.
First thing I need to do is just reassess my needs and of course the main thing among others...my BUDGET!
After much deliberation, my verdict is to purchase the Nikon DSLR 40 kit which is of good choice for value and image quality and a Nikkor 55-200mm VR zoom lens.
What I need to do now is just go shopping and hopefully can bargain for a good price.
